L'Ombra di Ade
L'Ombra di Ade - The Myth of Orpheus and Eurydice
is a musical that tells and reimagines the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice in a post-apocalyptic setting.
We are in a world where only icy winters and scorching summers exist, where poverty and misery reign. Everything revolves around the city of Hades, a place of slavery where freedom is crushed by the King of the Underworld and his factory, which on one side represents salvation from the hunger of the world outside, and on the other the surrender of every freedom and will.
The show’s music draws inspiration from Jazz, Funk, Swing, Gospel and, more broadly, Black Music.

La Compagnia dei Girafiabe is a Cultural Association founded in 2018 in Florence, self-managed and self-funded, linked to the Teatro La Fiaba space and to Florence’s District 4.
Made up of young people aged between 20 and 35, over the years of activity the company has taken part in numerous workshop-based projects with schools, connected to environmental awareness, the fight against bullying, and awareness regarding gender discrimination.
The Company aims to support and spread the pursuit of art in all its forms, with particular attention to the disciplines of theatre and music, poetry and performance, both by members and by external companies and individuals.
Through the practice, promotion and teaching of art, the Association intends to take part in the life of the local community with cultural contributions and recreational events, providing cultural services for the whole community, in favour of a dialogue that can create fertile ground for meetings and ideas.
The Company works steadily with Florence’s District 4 and with local primary and middle schools and, over the years, has established collaborations with other Florentine cultural organisations such as Still I Rise, Radio Bruno, Mercafir, Catalyst and Tedavi '98.
