Buongiorno Maestà
Hard to find a pleasure more sincere than resting in a comfortable bed.
And when the alarm clock rings there is nothing else to do but get up.
It would be nice to turn over just a little longer.
And a little more...
And a tiny little bit more...
BUT YOU CAN'T!

La Meccanica dell'Amore
One of Alessandro Riccio’s most beloved shows returns, The Mechanics of Love. First staged in 2013, it comes back with renewed relevance, delicately and humorously exploring the clash between man and technology.
Orlando is a reclusive elderly man, used to living in disorder, who is forced to take into his home—on pain of being moved to a nursing home—a female robot to help with household chores. He thus finds himself facing a series of issues, first and foremost technological, with what turns out to be a maid anything but ordinary.
Two very distant worlds meet: the stubbornness of old age and the machine’s lack of flexibility. Paradoxical and comic situations alternate with moments of poetry tinged with solitude.

La Meccanica della Gelosia
Years go by and technology moves on: humans grow old and appliances become obsolete.
During the usual cleaning routine, the mechanical maid Amapola, in the service of old Orlando for some years now, breaks down and, while waiting for the spare part, the company offers a brand-new ultra‑high‑tech mechanical butler to replace her, on a free trial, until the part is delivered.
Old Orlando thus finds himself at home with the latest technological marvel, complete with artificial intelligence, able to anticipate and handle every difficulty even better than Orlando himself
This unfamiliar presence will spark a series of jealousies, snubs, pranks, competitive attempts at replacement between the two mechanical robots, each trying to put the other in trouble, just like in a real love relationship.

Le Donne che Amano Muoiono
When the lights dim and silence fills the hall, three women step onto the stage. Their voices don’t ask for pity — they ask to be heard.
Eva speaks first, with uncertain sweetness, mistaking obsession for love. Then comes Maddalena, who knows the rules of her cage but still can’t
imagine a way out. And finally Frida, the one who dares to shout, who gives a name to the violence the others still whisper.
Their stories intertwine — a song of fear, awakening, and rebellion. The monologues become poetry, gestures turn to dance, words become wounds that won’t heal. Every movement, every breath, carries the echo of a truth too often left unspoken.
“Le Donne che Amano Muoiono” is not a show that comforts — it’s a show that shakes you. Written and directed by Claudia Allodi, it blends theatre, poetry, song, and dance to reveal the many faces of gender-based violence. It is an act of resistance
disguised as art, a collective voice against silence. It reminds us that what we call “normal” is often the first form of violence — and that change begins the moment we choose to name it.

La Meccanica della Fedeltà
Fourteen years after the creation of the show “La Meccanica dell'Amore” and after the success of the second episode “La Meccanica della Gelosia”, the characters Orlando and Amapola (the grumpy old man, a compulsive hoarder, and his mechanical maid) star in a new adventure.
Amapola and Orlando will find themselves facing a foreign girl who has moved into the house and won’t leave. Orlando, fiercely jealous of his home and his belongings, cannot tolerate this intrusion into his territory, but the girl, stubborn and clever, always finds a way to stay in Orlando’s house.
The intruder will befriend the mechanical maid, who will grow fond of the newcomer, calling into question the loyalty Amapola has always shown toward her Orlando.
A third episode to keep experiencing these two characters, who are beloved by the audience: as in the tradition of commedia dell’arte, Orlando and Amapola are true masks, modern-day Pantalone and Colombina, protagonists of different shows.
Alessandro Riccio and Claudia Allodi will be joined by Hortencia Teran, a volcanic Italian-Venezuelan artist who for years has divided her time between theatre and music, and who will be the third wheel disturbing the peace of Orlando’s home.
